The well-known English magician, Dynamo, has done this several times on his TV show, “Dynamo: Magician Impossible.” Today it’s your turn to do “Pen or Pencil” for your spectators.The simplest things are often the most difficult to implement. Here’s the proof!
Today, Mickael Chatelain is offering his new creation, Pen or Pencil. Based on a simple principle, this new, extremely visual effect will completely fool your spectators. This time, no playing cards, just two writing implements – one transparent Bic pen with its cap and a wooden pencil.
Take out the Bic and the pencil in front of your audience. You have nothing else in your hands. A wooden pencil in one hand, a Bic pen in the other, that’s it! Invite one of you spectators to chose either.
Let’s say he chooses the wooden pencil. Place it into your trouser pocket, leaving only the Bic pen in your hand – nothing else.
Remove the cap from the Bic while explaining that you’ll make it disappear merely by blowing on it. You don’t believe me? Close your fingers around the cap and blow on your hand. When you open your hand, the trick seems to have failed as the cap is still right there in the palm of your hand! It hasn’t vanished!
Explain that it’s not the cap that was supposed to disappear, but the Bic pen!
I don’t have to describe the reaction of your spectators when they notice that you are no longer holding the Bic pen in the the other hand but rather the wooden pencil!!!
The Bic has completely disappeared without a trace! A disappearance in full view! Your spectators won’t believe their eyes. With just a fleeting glance at the cap, the Bic has changed places with the wooden pencil!
It’s completely impossible. You haven’t moved a muscle! You then proudly take the Bic from your pocket where moments ago you had put the wooden pencil.
An absolutely unbelievable transposition! An effect that we guarantee will drive your spectators crazy! You may, if you wish, hand out both the Bic and the pencil for examination at the end of the routine.
Do it for yourself in front of a mirror. You’ll fool yourself, so strong is the illusion!

Le célèbre magicien anglais Dynamo ne s’y est pas trompé en le présentant à de multiples reprises dans ses émissions TV “Dynamo : magicien de l’impossible”. Aujourd’hui, c’est à votre tour de présenter PEN or PENCIL à vos spectateurs.
UNE MÉTHODE SIMPLE QUI VA BLUFFER VOS SPECTATEURS
Mickael Chatelain nous propose aujourd’hui de découvrir sa nouvelle création, PEN or PENCIL ! Basé sur une méthode toute simple, ce nouvel effet extrêmement visuel va complètement bluffer vos spectateurs.
UN STYLO BIC, UN CRAYON ET RIEN D’AUTRE
Ici, pas de cartes à jouer mais 2 crayons : un stylo Bic transparent avec son capuchon et un crayon de bois ! Sortez les deux crayons devant votre auditoire, mis à part ces crayons, vous n’avez rien d’autre en main. Un crayon dans chaque main, un point c’est tout, invitez un de vos spectateurs à choisir l’un des deux crayons !
Admettons que son choix se porte sur le crayon de bois, prenez celui-ci et placez le dans votre poche de pantalon ne laissant en main que le stylo Bic et rien d’autre ! Retirez maintenant le capuchon du stylo Bic en expliquant qu’en soufflant sur celui-ci, il va disparaître ! Vous ne me croyez pas ?…
Refermez les doigts de votre main sur le capuchon et soufflez vers elle, rouvrez aussitôt ! Le tour semble avoir raté puisque le capuchon trône toujours dans votre paume de main, il n’a pas disparu !
Expliquez alors que ce n’est pas le capuchon qui doit disparaître mais le stylo bic !Inutile de vous préciser la réaction de vos spectateurs lorsqu’ils constateront que vous ne tenez plus le stylo Bic dans l’autre main mais le crayon de bois !!!
Plus de trace du stylo Bic ! Il a complètement disparu, une disparition en pleine lumière. Vos spectateurs n’en croiront pas leurs yeux ! Leur regard ne s’est pourtant posé qu’une seconde sur le capuchon, pas une de plus et pourtant le stylo Bic a permuté avec le crayon de bois !
C’est complètement impossible, vous n’avez pourtant pas bougé !
Sortez alors fièrement le stylo Bic de votre poche, celle dans laquelle, quelques instant plus tôt vous y aviez mis le crayon de bois !
Une permutation de place des plus incroyable ! Un effet qui rendra fou vos spectateurs nous vous le garantissons ! Vous pourrez, si vous le souhaitez, donner les crayons à l’examen à la fin de la routine !
Face à un miroir, cet effet vous bluffera également tellement l’illusion est forte !
